  • From February 4 to 11, 1945, the United States of America, the Soviet Union and Great Britain held a summit in Yalta to arrange the international order and divide up their interests of post-World War II.At the Yalta Conference,The United States, the Soviet Union and Great Britain signed a secret agreement. It met the Soviet's demand for a privilege in northeast China. The United States and Great Britain also obtained their respective interests in China. In exchange, the Soviet Union agreed to enter into the war against Japan after the war terminated in Europe.Chiang kai-shek's Diaries,Chiang ching-kuo Readme and the Memoirs of Eden all included details about the violation of China's sovereignty by the secret Yalta agreement. These accounts showed that under the pressure of the US-Soviet power politics, China and the Soviet Union continued to negotiate, leading to the Soviet Union obtaining more benefits than the Yalta Secret Agreement. This is a serious violation of Chinese sovereignty caused by the US-Soviet power politics. The establishment of New China led to a partial end to the Agreement, gradually removing the destiny of arbitrary manipulation by Western power politics. Now China has become an influential power in the world, puts forward the vision of a community of shared future for mankind in international relations, staking out a completely different path from that of Western power politics. However, the influence of Western power politics is deeply ingrained in the current relations. Many obstacles still need to be overcome in order to realize the community of shared future for mankind.
