Abstract

Abstract

With the rapid spread of smart phones, the third-party mobile phone software relying on the internet information technology, is growing rapidly. This brought convenience to people's lives and at the same time brought a lot of negative effects, and network rumor is one of them. Internet society and the real society are closely linked, network rumors can bring economic losses, threatening people's physical and mental health, and even seriously disrupt the social order, threatening public safety. In this case, it is necessary to take relevant measures to govern it. This paper analyzes the effectiveness and laws and regulations of network rumors at present in China, and draws lessons from the experience of foreign governance to put forward the countermeasures for the problems in network rumors at present.
