Abstract

Abstract

The paper, based on the theory of interpersonal function in Systemic Functional Grammar, explores the projection clause nexus in Analects and its English versions.By applying the theory of interpersonal function in the analysis of projection clause nexus, we find that the different realization of Mood, mood elements and personal system in different English versions can present different interpersonal meaning.The research concludes that analyzing interpersonal meaning of the projection nexus plays important roles in the translation research of projection clause nexus.
