On the “Four Histories” Education of College Students from the Perspective of the Centennial Founding of the Communist Party of China-Taking the Course of “Conspectus of Chinese Modern Histories” into “Four Histories” Education As an Example

  • Since the founding of the Communist Party of China, it has made great achievements that attract worldwide attention. It has led the Chinese people to realize the great leap from standing up, getting rich, and getting strong at the same time of continuous development and growth. This great leap benefits from the fact that the whole party has always attached great importance to the study of history and emphasized, to sum up experience and draw lessons from history. College students are the backbone of society, shouldering the task of national rejuvenation. Standing in the new historical position of one hundred years since the founding of the party, it is necessary and inevitable to strengthen the “four histories” education of college students’ party history, the history of new China, the history of reform and opening up and the history of socialist development. By strengthening the “four histories” education, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of several aspects of college students and strives to make the “four histories” education play an important role in the education of college students in the new era.
