The Realization of Ideational Meaning of Multimodal Projection in Sinology Comics

Abstract:
Chinese classics have been widely adapted and transferred into comics in order to meet the needs and interests of modern audience. The projection system of sinology comics is an area relatively under-examined. This study aims at constructing the multimodal projection framework of sinology from the perspective of ideational metafunction based on Systemic Functional Linguistics and Visual Grammar, which is used to analyze sinology comics corpus in order to demystify the meaning-making process of multimodal projection. The result shows that the realization of multimodal projection in sinology comics is more complex than linguistic projection. It shows some unique features which differentiate sinology comics form other narrative comics.

Why is the English Song “You Are My Sunshine” So Successful?—AnInterpretation Based on Experiential Function Analysis

Abstract:
The English song "You Are My Sunshine", written by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell and sung by Jimmie Davis on February 4th, 1940, was so popular that it became King George VI's favourite. Why was it so successful? So far, despite a few linguistic studies on songs, no research on this song is available. This paper analyzes the text of this song from the perspective of experiential function and finds that different from the findings of the existing literature that material processes are dominating in songs, the major types of process in this song text are mental and relational processes, and that all processes involve typical verbs indicating love related to physical and mental behaviour and to "you-me" relationship so that the text gives its listeners the unforgettable impression of closeness, which is linguistically part of the key to its great success. In addition, the conclusion and weaknesses of the analysis are also briefly discussed.

A Comparative Study of Energy White Papers between China and Britain from the Perspective of International Ecological Discourse

Abstract:
From a perspective of international ecological discourse, energy white papers are deemed as an important type of energy ecological discourse. Two small corpora consisting of energy white papers by China and Britain are created. Word frequency, collocation and keywords are analyzed and compared with the assistance of corpus software. Analysis reveals that both countries prioritize technological innovations as solutions to the fossil fuel impasse. Affected by energy endowment, energy development stage, and social, historical and cultural context, the white papers by China and Britain also show large differences. Facing energy impasse and uncertainty in future development, China's white papers are more action oriented, and solution-driven with strong international as well as domestic concerns, while Britain's are more entrenched in antagonism, on which world energy transition is deemed as a battlefield with energy technologies and polices as weapons. From the perspective of international ecological discourse, in comparison, China's energy whitepapers are more positive in terms of ecological stance in that it views state as an organic agent and all states in the world should be in harmony and in that mankind should save and use energy, the natural resources, efficiently. This paper ends with a suggestion that human beings should adopt a firm ecological stance by which reshaping man's life style, habit, ways of organization and value orientation is fundamental for the effective energy transition from fossil fuel dependence to renewable energy dependence.

Abstract:
With the development of people's ecological consciousness, the study of Ecolinguistics has become more and more popular among scholars, but the coexistence of various research paradigms and their weak relevance make the unity of the subject unclear. Many-worlds interpretation theory tries to unify in superposition state, demonstrates the unity of micro and macro, and has the potential to disclose the unity of Ecolinguistics. This paper attempts to analyze the level of decoherence and the dimension of multi-worlds from the perspective of Many-worlds interpretation theory, explain the cause of the coexistence of various paradigms in ecolinguistics, and analyze the mechanism of the split of research paradigms, so as to degrade the explicit decoherence and reveal the implicit coherence, which is expected to contribute to the unity of Ecolinguistics.

Political science is an important supporting discipline of philosophy and social science. The core of political science responds to the important issues of national development and governance. Facing the urgent need of the times for Chinese theory, it is necessary to analyze the basic academic situation of the development of political science. Based on the basic information of the political scientist WeChat public platform, this paper analyzes the basic situation of the current academic development of political science. At present, the research on normative political theory, history of political thought and history of institution is decreasing, while the research on comparative politics, grass-roots politics and quantitative politics is developing rapidly. On this basis, the paper puts forward the possible challenges in the development of political science, which requires the innovation of political science from the aspects of developing political theory, retrieving administrative science, and strengthening the advantages of Chinese political research.

The Core Controversy and Academic Dissemination of Domestic Urban Community Research

Abstract:
The development needs of national and social governance have promoted the vigorous development of community research. On the whole, the study of urban communities in China revolves around the core debates about community ontology position, community myth, community model and structure, the relationship between state and society, country comparison of communities, community logic, community method. This paper selects 54 reprinted articles in the theme of "Urban Community Research" on the WeChat Official Account of Zhengzhixueren from 2015 to 2020, and conducted textual and academic analysis on research topics, research methods, research purposes. The study found that domestic urban community research has problems with homogeneity and duplication to a certain extent. They need to be further standardized and deepened in the use of research methods and theoretical increments. Facing the future, mixed research and explanatory research will help to explore the causal mechanism in community research. Comparing community research, social development and community capacity may provide the possibility for theoretical innovation in urban community research.

Abstract:
The arrival of the "Mass Media Era" has changed the environment and pattern of academic communication. The importance of the new-media academic communication and how to understand the development trend and characteristics of communication carrier and communication content in the process of network communication of politics is an important issue not only in theory but also in social practice. The rise and development of third-party academic WeChat Public Accounts provides a new way, new perspective and new data for the breakthrough and innovation of the traditional academic communication of politics in the "Mass Media Era". By analyzing the reprinted data of the Wechat Official Account called Zhengzhixueren, it's found that the characteristics of the research subjects of politics in the new-media communication are diverse, and greatly influenced by the important social and political realistic environment. As for the research method, qualitative research is dominant and quantitative research is secondary, but it has made great progress on the whole. How to fully make good use of the potential of new academic media, expand the space of academic communication, build a new academic evaluation system, and realize the breakthrough and innovation in the "Mass Media Era" still needs further research.

Abstract:
Young full-time teachers in colleges and universities are the new force for the improvement of school quality, but the pressure they face in the process of work, life and personal future development has become an important bottleneck restricting the development of this group. This study analyzed the pressure of 372 young full-time teachers in a university in Beijing in the form of the Rick scale. The results show that:the current young full-time teachers in colleges and universities face work pressure in teaching, scientific research and professional title evaluation, housing, marriage and love life pressures related to education and children's education;other pressures related to ideological and political construction, physical health and future career planning. To this end, measures can be taken to build a scientific evaluation system, form an effective training and training mechanism, create a good external growth environment and teachers' ability to improve self-resistance to alleviate the various pressures faced by young full-time teachers in universities.

Although the peaceful and democratic efforts of the Communist Party of China failed to prevent the outbreak of civil war, the Communist Party of China is striving for peace and democracy. On the Legal Nature of Digital Currency—The Construction and Typed Application of Economic Essence Standard

Abstract:
The study of the legal nature of digital currency from a single legal perspective has the limitation of being divorced from the nature of money, and is easy to be misled by the standard of "legal tender status". It may also lead to the consequence of being partial to the whole. Based on the study of the nature of money in economics, the function of debt recording and the circulation basis of "transparent consensus" should be the essential criteria for money. Thus, a set of more specific typed legal characterization system can be constructed:if a certain kind of digital currency has the economic de facto "monetary nature", it should be regarded as money in law and adjusted accordingly, i.e., to recognize its "legal attribute" as money; the compulsory acceptance character stipulated by law should only serve as the boundary between "legal tender" and "agreed tender".Under this analytical framework, this paper concludes that DC/EP, the central bank digital currency of China, has the status of legal tender, while Bitcoin should be classified as digital asset, and Libra should belong to the agreed tender category.

Abstract:
It has gradually formed a consensus that the notification removal rule is applicable to the patent field. Reasonable use of the rule can not only play a diversion role in dispute resolution but also the application of the rule is convenient and does not require the notifier to provide guarantee. However, the application of this rule has the problem of imbalance of interests. The pre-lawsuit behavior preservation and notification removal rule have similarities in terms of regulatory purpose, initiation requirements, and legal effects. The unique advantages of pre-lawsuit behavior preservation can supplement the disadvantages of notification removal rule. According to the specific situation to choose appropriate measures to resolve disputes is more conductive to timely relief. The existing problems in practice provide directions for optimizing the two measures:the application of notification removal rule should improve the requirements for preliminary evidence of infringement, and the review obligation of e-commerce platform should not be set too high. Adjust the criteria for judges to appropriately determine pre-lawsuit behavior preservation. It is not necessary to require all applicant for pre-lawsuit behavior preservation to provide guarantee. At the same time, establish and improve the docking mechanism between the court and the e-commerce platform.

Since the reform of state-owned enterprises, there were a lot of attention and assistance on "4050" people, but a little on the relatively young second generation of state-owned enterprise workers. They have been in a huge dilemma in the transformation, especially in the sense of organizational belonging and emotional awareness and other aspects of serious deviation.According to the academic context of state-owned enterprise workers' research and a large number of data and interviews in field survey, this paper believes that we should start from the perspective of daily life, analyze their objective employment and living conditions, social reputation and status and subjective consciousness, find out the factors that really change, and clarify the root causes of their predicament. On the basis of this, we should give the relevant preferential policies, encourage them to change the old and fixed thinking mode, provide targeted assistance, and find the path to solve the problems in the development and upgrading of emerging industries.

This requires us to strengthen the research on the history, geography and culture of Southern Xinjiang and the South China Sea, so as to meet the needs of the development of the situation and promote the modernization of border governance. "Zhengde Qiongtai Zhi" is the earliest well preserved Hainan local chronicle work. In this local chronicle literature, it objectively, comprehensively and fully records the natural geographical data and historical and cultural data of Hainan in Ming Dynasty, which can be called "the whole history of a party". Abstract:
Kant's redefinition of concept, not only is to resolve the problem of different perceptions about the source of concept pit rationalists against empiricists, but also is a necessary requirement of "the epistemological reversal". The task of this redefinition is that concept is redefined as a pure form of reason's ability (in the broad sense). Because there are different levels of the reason's ability and every different level has its own object and scope, its concept has different functions and transcendental contents correspondingly. A pure form of understanding is the category of understanding and a pure form of reason is the transcendental idea. The category of understanding as a pure form has provided conditions of universality and inevitability for empirical cognition. The transcendental idea as a pure form is not merely a subjective principle of a systematic structure of empirical cognition, but means that a person is a free existence and has provided a rational basis for a person as a free existence.
