The arrival of the "Mass Media Era" has changed the environment and pattern of academic communication. The importance of the new-media academic communication and how to understand the development trend and characteristics of communication carrier and communication content in the process of network communication of politics is an important issue not only in theory but also in social practice. The rise and development of third-party academic WeChat Public Accounts provides a new way, new perspective and new data for the breakthrough and innovation of the traditional academic communication of politics in the "Mass Media Era". By analyzing the reprinted data of the Wechat Official Account called Zhengzhixueren, it's found that the characteristics of the research subjects of politics in the new-media communication are diverse, and greatly influenced by the important social and political realistic environment. As for the research method, qualitative research is dominant and quantitative research is secondary, but it has made great progress on the whole. How to fully make good use of the potential of new academic media, expand the space of academic communication, build a new academic evaluation system, and realize the breakthrough and innovation in the "Mass Media Era" still needs further research.
