Abstract

Abstract

This paper first reviewed the different disputes of modem aesthetics based on Cai Yi's academic thoughts; and then it analyzed the present situation and future of aesthetics. Now, aesthetics is facing a problem of multi-shifting of directions, among which the following need more attention:(1) shifting to materialism of Marxism, (2) shifting to self-centered humanism, (3) shifting to caring about the weak group, and (4) shifting to globalism.
