Abstract

Abstract

After new China was established, Chen Yun was very concerned about the development of forestry.He attached great importance of forestry to agriculture, industry and people's life.Chen Yun proposed and took a whole set of important measures after investigations and on the spot studies:the afforestation is a national long-term goal;based on universal forest protection, focus on afforestation selectively and cut reasonably;pay attention to forestry education.Chen Yun's instructions and suggestions greatly promoted the development of forestry in our country and are of practical significance to our work today.
