    Abstract
  • The advent of the era of new technology and industrial revolution and the start of the construction of the New Liberal Arts have put forward new requirements for the development of linguistics. The 3rd High-End Forum on the Integration, Innovation and Development of (Functional) Linguistics focusing on the theme “Mutual Learning between the Foreign Language Circle and the Chinese Language Circle, Theory Integration and Local Innovation” discussed the cooperation between the foreign language circle and the Chinese language circle, the mutual integration among different theories and schools of linguistics, as well as the interdisciplinary integration between linguistics and other humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, technical sciences. It provides new directions, perspectives and approaches for the integration, innovation and development of linguistic studies under the background of the New Era and the New Liberal Arts.
