The Ethical Responsibility of Scientists

  • The ethical responsibility of scientists is that the scientists should pay more attention to the social results of science, with bringing benefits to the human being as the supreme aim. In the social life, there are some phenomena about lacking ethical responsibility. For example, employing trickery for the scientific results, misusing or abusing the scientific results. There are two channels to implementing the ethical responsibility of scientists. One is that the scientists ubdertake the ethical responsibility actively, and the other is the practical restraining from the rules of politics, law and ethics. Both of them have practical ways.
