Abstract

Abstract

Under the background of constructing first-class journals, traditional English sci-tech journals are facing both opportunities and challenges. This study takes the International Journal of Minerals Metallurgy and Materials (IJMMM) as an example, and makes an in-depth analysis and discussion on the strategies and practices to enhance the academic influence of the journal. It points out that only by making deep efforts in publishing team construction, academic quality control, editorial and proofreading quality control, integrated publication and promotion can the brand reputation and academic influence of the journal be effectively improved, and the high-quality international development of traditional English sci-tech journals in China be truly promoted.
