Hashi hoped to continue his cause of striving for human rights by joining China League for Civil Rights. It was the disagreement between Hushi and the leadquarter of China League for Civil Rights that led to the break-up of Peking Branch. Hashi's ideas influenced not only Peking Branch but also Cai Yuan-pei and Lin Yu-tang, the two backbone figares in the leadquarter, which made a certain impact on the League's final break-up.
