Abstract

Abstract

With the development for nearly 40 years, the self-determination theory has turned into an important motivation theory which can direct the practices in many fields of human behaviors.This paper reviews the development of self-determination theory, introduces some important figures, summarizes relevant researches and tries to show the new trend and prosperity of SDT, reflecting the contribution to the human beings from psychologists.
