Authoritarian is a kind of democratic political model which formed in the transition period of central Asian and Southeast Asian countries,while Kazakhstan and Singapore are typical authoritarian countries in these two regions. The authoritarian political system of the two countries has the same characteristics,and there are many differences. But the authoritarian political system adapts to the conditions of these two nations. Meanwhile,the two countries properly handle the relationship between tradition and modernity. In addition,they can orderly deal with the relationship between authoritarian politics and democracy. Thus, in the carrier of democratic institutions,the essential characteristics of Kazakhstan's and Singapore's authoritarian politics will continue.
