Abstract

Abstract

The academic debates about Marx's first entry into China are as the follows:When did the Chinese society know Marx and his theory? Who was the first Chinese promoting Marx? According to the author's opinion, Chinese society knew Marx and his theory in 1898, and it is certain that Chinese people who were active in Japan in the early 20th century first publicized Marx. Early introductions of Marx's theory were different in depth, on the one hand, we may not measure, inspect, appraise and judge them from today's perspective.
