Abstract

Abstract

Because of the historical and cultural background, there is a great difference between the middle East feminism and Western feminism; and the complex and volatile political environment reduce the visibility of feminism. Egyptian modernization and the Egyptian feminist movement lauched earlier in the Middle East countries. From the course of feminist development, Egyptian feminist contents are different from the Western's. Egypt is "nationalist feminism", which is different from the western "feminism".
