Abstract

Abstract

In 1904, Lu Xun started his medical study in Sendai Medical School and two year later, he gave up the study and embarked the literary career. This period played an important role in Lu Xun's life. His medical or scientific training, his relation to one of his teachers, Mr. Fujino, and his decision to leave the school have been the topics of many books and theses. This article is a comprehensive summary of the research on Lu Xun and Sendal so far and looks forward to its future.
