Abstract

Abstract

Construction Grammar is systematic with interactions between constructions and constituents resulting in constructional coercions.Another difference between Construction Grammar and Traditional Grammar lies in the realization of constructional schema into prototypes and non-prototypes.A typical case is the di-transitive construction in which MOTION is implicitly expressed prototypically while in non-prototypical cases it is entailed in English but tangibly expressed in Chinese.
