Abstract

Abstract

“Social studies of science” is an important branch of contemporary Science Studies.It makes a heterogeneity interpretation for science from the perspectives of society and culture.This paper portrays that “social studies of science” criticizes and deconstructs traditional scientific epistemological rules and program, like objectivity, rationality and empirical by tracing back to the origin of heterogeneity interpretation, and concludes that, their interpretation are radical and biased, but provide a new approach for exploring the essence of science and enriching the image of science.
