Abstract

Abstract

Since Li Zhi was framed as "deluding the people by heretical doctrines"and "propagating licentiousness", he was persecuted by the feudal rulers when he preached at Zhifo Buddhist Institute in Macheng City.And then he was forced to take sanctuary at Fayan Temple in the Huangbo Mount of Shangcheng County in Henan Province.At Fayan Temple, he continued to preach, write poetry, and emended Yiyin.And then, he made his trip north with Ma Jinglun.The paper make a good discussion on Li Zhi's experiences and writings at this period.
