  • Experience is a kind of emotion which is a psychological activity with strong subjectivity. It regards every passed affair in our life as the target, and ponders over them in order to comprehend life value. Along with many difficulties and dangers in our life comes the spiritual and material lacks. And these lacks have become such a psychic trauma that people have produced the experience of personal sad emotion. Two kinds of sadness had run through all Balzac's life,i. e. poor mother love and little money, and they had exerted a great influence on his literary writing. Ordinary people and Balzac are not different in their misfortune, but it is essential for him to surpass personal adversity and contemplate universal social problems. Thus, in his works, the grievous experience of personal emotion has assimilated factors of society and era. Further, that his works expresses is not personal emotion but general social experience.
