Abstract

Abstract

Based on the system of strategies in the English translations of classical Chinese poetry, the paper studies its adaptability to Xin Qiji's song lyrics from four perspectives of Linguistic Variety, Formal Diversification, Intratextual Translation and Paratranslation as Textual Expansion, through a case study of Qing Yu An's English versions.
