Cognitive Stylistics of Conversational Patterns under Cognitive-Grammar Perspective——Cognitive Analysis of Character Conversation in Wilderness

According to cognitive linguists，language structure and cognitive processes coexist，the use of language is based on human experience，related with human psychology.By borrowing the analytical paradigm of cognitive grammar and resorting to the description－and－evaluation procedure，the grammatical features and cognitive characteristics are considered together with the practical functions of language to help reveal the mechanism of cerebral linguistic reaction.Eggins＆Slade's theory of patterns of casual conversation is applied into the study of the clausal structural patterns used in the character dialogue in Wilderness.It reveals the psychologically and socially contextualized semiotic cognition of the mood grammar patterns，to show the general cognitive experience of doing/reading literature as an ability to understand the world.
