Innovation of Logistics Education in Universities: Practice and Exploration

  • Under the framework of “Great Ideological and Political Education” and “All-round education in the whole process with all-staff”, university logistics, as an important carrier of implicit education, urgently needs to realize its educational function and transition from a support-oriented to an education-oriented mode. University of Science and Technology Beijing, based on the goal of “cultivating high-caliber talent with strong will to serve the country”, and supported by various educational theories, has constructed a five-in-one, boundaryless logistics education model integrating Party-building to forge the soul, scenic cultivation to nourish the mind, heartwarming services, collaborative efforts, and practical training. By improving the Party-building system in dormitories to strengthen organizational guidance, creating a distinctive campus environment to deepen cultural immersion, optimizing diversified logistical services to convey the spirit of dedication, building a multi-party collaborative network to consolidate educational efforts, and embedding labor education to cultivate practical abilities, breaking the barriers of various kinds to form an all-encompassing educational ecosystem. This practice realizes the implementation of logistical education from theory to practice, highlights the educational essence of universities with industry characteristics, and provides a theoretical reference and practical model for high-quality educational transformation of university logistics in the new era.
