Abstract

Abstract

Strict governance over the party is a sensible choice made by the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core. It originates from the experience and practices of the party in the past century and carries forward the party’s tradition of self-revolution. Last decade marked the constant deepening of strict governance over the party and witnessed a series of significant accomplishments, generating comprehensive and profound influence. Understanding the logical evolution of strict governance over the party and the challenges faced by colleges and universities can help better understand the theoretical support and the demand of promoting the governance of the party in higher education institutions, especially in the effort of anti-corruption.
