Abstract

With the aggravation of environmental crisis, more attentions are paid to the ecological discourse to concern the ecological issues.The Call of the Wild, one of Jack London's main works of nature, reflects an ecological care.The paper intends to analyze the fictional descriptions of action, mind and environment in terms of participants, processes and circumstance of the transitivity.It aims to find out the linguistic features of these descriptions as well as the writer's ecosophy.
