  • The paper, within the framework of multimodal discourse analysis, based on the multimodal generic structure of classroom foreign language teaching and the choice and corresponding combination of models, qualitatively describes the videos of 12 contestants in the 2nd National College English Teaching Contest.The study generalizes about the generic structure, choice and combination of models for foreign language teaching competition.The findings might be reliable reference for competition grading and classroom teaching.
