The research results show that LDOCEP, compared to traditional paper dictionaries with a single visual modal, integrates wording, images, sounds, colors and other signs to make full use of readers' multimodal senses of vision, hearing and touch, may optimize the multilateral dialog and interaction among participants, learners and dictionary compilers/designers, and help learners develop their multiliteracy.
