Art Education Research in Engineering Universities in China

In this paper,the authors explore the necessity for Engineering universities to develop art education,because of cultivating comprehensive talents, building socialist spirtual civilization and developing the market economy.Meanwhile,they explore the regularity and reality of art education,which include know its character and position properly, adopting scientific education methods and optimizing teaching courses.
