Abstract

Abstract

Lewis puts forward the idea that “knowledge, action, and evaluation are essentially connected” and get the condusion “evaluation represent one type of empirical cognition”. Lewis’ analysis of evaluation belongs to pragmatism; he persists in cognitivism, opposes non-cognitivism theory of value.
