The Social and Economic Status of Royal Architect in Late Qing Dynasty

The study on ancient Chinese architect is one important aspect of ancient Chinese architecture history.Limited to the history archives, few of the research on ancient Chinese architect refers to the social and economic status of them.This article selected Hui Tomb as a case, based on the collection and study on the architecture history archives of "Patten Lei" in Qing dynasty, vividly opened out the social degree and the income of the royal architect in Qing dynasty.
