The Meaning of the “Dirty Words”——A Linguistic Analysis of WANG Li-chun' Novel Beet March

  • The article analyses the “dirty words” of Wang Li chun' novel Beet March. It it argued that the “dirty words” have strong critical characteristics of society, are one of the modes with which antagonism and difference between the linguistic mode of “dirty words” and orthodox linguistic mode are in fact the antagonism between different mode of life. The dirty words in Beet March implicate the meaning of sex and have strong characteristic of male chauvinism.
