An Analysis of Canadian Political System

  • Canada is a federal country with multi-culture and special political characteristics. (1) Power framework: one constitution, three parties and three powers. (2) Administrative system: cabinet-practicing and premier-dominating. (3) Legislative system: composed by Senate and House of Commons, which carry out most of the governing functions such as legislation, finance and inspection, etc. (4) Judiciary system: divided into both federal court and provincial court with the merit of judiciary independent. (5) Party system: Liberal party, Conservative Party and New Democratic Party formed as the three big parties, and the former two party rule the country in turn in practice.To analyses the political system in Canada is very valuable for us to develop and improve our political system just by telling from their merits and flaws.
