A Study on Citizen Participation in Basic Government Performance Measurement

Citizen participation in government performance measurement is the outcome developing as modern democratic politics.The specific system of citizen involvement in government performance measurement in basic government is still under exploration.There remain many problems, such as the defective system, the unclear channel, civic unconsciousness, etc.which challenge the sustainability of citizen participation in government performance measurement.Accepting that can play multiple roles more than customers in social life, is the key point of driving citizen participation in government performance measurement.This paper analyzes the importance of the multiple roles of citizen, to the sustainable basic government performance measurement.
