Performance Management: the Rational Approach to Inspiring Human Resources Potential in Public Sector

  • Performance management in the public sector is an important issue of modern public administration, and improving public sector efficiency and service quality has become an urgent requirement of public sector reform. This paper, based on the fundamental concept of performance management, introduces related theories as well as practices of performance management in Chinese public sector. It analyses the bottlenecks existing in the current model of performance management in public sector and puts forward relevant countermeasures and policy suggestions.
