  • A deep and comprehensive analysis was done based on the first hand data from a survey on job-seeking college graduates and the employers in Beijing between the years 2004 and 2005. It is the first part of a serious study toward the changing value in jobseeking among college graduates and improvement in this matter. The college graduates appear to be ignorant about an increasingly tightening job market and center on personal preference, and are exclusively targeting on jobs offered by big cities, renowned companies, government agencies, as well as foreign affairs related positions. Critiques are made on the longlasting phenomenon based on misconception with a probe into the psychological conditions.
