On the Theory and Practice of Labor Education of the CPC and PRC

  • It is an important issue that the Communist Party of China always pays attention to and actively carries out theoretical and practical exploration, to combine Marxist labor concept with the construction and development of the country and society. Since the founding of PRC, the Communist Party of China has gradually absorbed, used for reference, reformed and innovated Marxist labor education concept from the simple study of Marxist labor education concept. Before the reform and opening up, labor education mainly refers to “physical labor” or agricultural production labor, and focuses on the direction change of “teaching the educated the concept of loving labor and striving for survival through labor, so that they can initially master the basic labor skills”. After the reform and opening up, the CPC’s understanding of labor education has been deepened in theory and practice. The development of labor education has become an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics.
