Research on the Discourse Mode of “HAI NP NE” from the Perspective of Speakers' Attitudes

  • Based on the speaker's attitude, this article studies the discourse mode of the "HAI NP NE"."HAI NP NE" is a common form in daily conversations, expressing the rich attitude of the speaker, such as disdain, appreciation and praise, surprise and helplessness, etc.There are certain cognitive reasons and pragmatic factors behind these rich attitude.In addition,through the investigation of the corpus, it is found that there is a certain rule of the discourse mode coexisting with "HAI NP NE".Specifically, "HAI NP NE" has some relevance of affairs with the following passages.Under the stimulus of the actual context (this stimulus is usually closely related to the speaker's attitude),this association is activated and responds to the stimulus in the situation, thereby generating a discourse mode with a certain degree of correlation with "HAI NP NE", including the discourse component co-occurring with "HAI NP NE" and the context in which the "HAI NP NE" construction appears.
