Abstract

Abstract

The pragmatistic theory of truth attaches importance to the posterior resolution. And it regards truth as coupling to join experience to idea. Therefore, it cannot but result in mentalism. However, the theory is becoming American values and spiritual prop. The thesis about “Human rights outmatching sovereignty” represents obviously pragatism. Pragatists turn human rights into practical and abstract theory. At last, they demonstrate “Human rights outmatching sovereignty”. The theory also becomes the American theoretical basis of external policy.
