Abstract

Abstract

Self-taught examination founded by the State Council is the higher education form composed of self-taught，social assistant and national examination，which is an important part of national educational system.This work reviews the history of self-taught examination.The key experiences and achievements of self-taught examination in the new period in Tianjin are introduced.Furthermore，the connotative development trends and the prospects of the self-taught examination are also discussed，which are related to The Outline of the National Medium-and-Long-term Program for Education Reform and Development.
