Frontier historical books in Ming dynasty were various in content, the compiling style mainly included annalistic style and jishibenmo style.Meanwhile, the compiling genre presented diversification, such as appearance of even-based method of presenting history, reformation and innovation in geography class, and chronological style, assembly volume of memorial to the throne, and biographic style which were developed in inheritance.
