Abstract

Abstract

Buzzati is an Italian famous novelist of absurdism who is called Italian Kafka, and his short stories possess greater achievement and influence. Buzzati’s short stories directly expose living situations of modern people, and reveal humanity and the nature of life, and reflect rules of humanity, society and human alienation. These novels represent social latent rules that has mythic characteristic beyond the normality of life by surreal form, and they have indispensable literary value and influence in the history of Italian literature.
