In the second half of year 1934, the American Government carried on a silver policy which did great harm to China. China negotiated it with the American Government and in Nov. 1935 went on with currency reform which had something to do with the interests of America, Britain and Japan. The powers including America took some different countermeasures. The American attitude underwent the changes of watching positively to supporting actively.
