Abstract

Abstract

Positive Discourse Analysis (PDA) was put forward by Martin J. R. in 1999. Since then many scholars have paid much attention to it and a great many papers have sprung up. This paper is devoted to its origin, research status and the problems existing in the current studies. It is hoped to shed light on the future PDA studies.
