Comment on the Federal Government's Policies to Improve Teachers' Qualifications in the United States

  • Since the 1980s, the United States fedreal government has adopted a series of policies and measures of improving the teachers' qualifications to enhance teachers' ability of involving in teaching reform and adapting to the need of educational reform.This paper firstly analyzes the different policies to improve the teachers' qulifications from the governament of Regan, Old Bush, Clinton, Bush Junior as well as Obama, then it analyzes their reference value for the development and improvement of teachers' education reform in China.
