As the vanguard of Chinese higher education institutions, universities in the capital face challenges that restrict their high-quality development in terms of student source structure, faculty and curriculum construction, and management and service levels, in the context of the rapid growth of the number of international students in China, the continuous improvement of the quality of education, and the continuous enhancement of the level of educational opening up to the outside world.
