Research on the Path of “Internet Celebrity Teachers and Students” to Help the Image Communication of Universities

  • “Internet celebrity teacher and students” are individuals who have a large fan base and strong social attention on the online platforms through their unique teaching methods, content creation, or personality charm, thus becoming popular among internet users. The emergence of “internet celebrity teacher and students” has played a positive role in promoting the image communications of universities. However, there are also issues such as incomplete understanding of the subject, severe homogenization of content, and excessive entertainment in the process of helping the image communication. This paper focuses on the new characteristics, new opportunities, new forms and new challenges presented by “internet celebrity teacher and students” in promoting the university image communications. It proposes relevant suggestions to quickly find a “new path” for “internet celebrity teacher and students” to promote the image communication of universities, thereby enhancing the communication power, guidance, influence, and credibility of university image.
