Abstract

Abstract

The report of the 20th National Congress provides a fundamental guideline for the high-quality development of higher education of the Party and the country in the new era. High-quality higher education undertakes an important mission in the construction of a modern socialist country. Building a high-quality education system is in line with the general trend of the development of modern scientific and technological civilization. It must be carried out the fundamental task of cultivating virtue, cultivate top-notch innovative talents as the path, and serve the construction of a modern socialist country as the goal. In order to promote the development path of Chinese-version modernization with high-quality higher education, we must adhere to the fundamental direction of educating people for the Party, educating talents for the country, and running an education satisfactory to the people, and take the construction of world-class universities and preponderant disciplines with Chinese characteristics as the main way. We should also thoroughly implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, strengthening the country with talents, and promoting the innovation-driven development as main goals. Meanwhile we need to consider to strengthen the construction of new engineering to forge a high-quality education system while adhering to our characteristics. Constructing ideological and political courses and the curriculum of ideological and political education allows for the cultivation of high-quality talents with both scientific literacy and humanistic literacy, and with professional, ideological and political, and moral quality. Thus, it is also necessary to cultivate top-notch innovative talents to achieve a high level of scientific and technological self-reliance.
