The Adaptive Development of Graduate Students in the Academic Echelon from the Perspective of Ecological System Theory

  • In order to promote the psychological adaptation and growth of graduate students in the academic echelon, and thus promote the sustainable development of the academic echelon ecosystem in universities, this study uses ecological system theory to conduct in-depth interviews with some members of the academic echelon in a university. Interviews found that, in academic echelon with good team cooperation, graduate students are more inclined to seek self-growth and echelon development through integration and cooperation. Finally, the research places graduate students’ development in the academic echelon ecosystem, and puts forward a model of joint promotion and development of graduate students, tutor members and echelon system. It is emphasized that postgraduates’ understanding of the maintenance and development mode of academic echelon will facilitate their integration and cooperation.
