2024, 40(2): 1-7. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023040042
Abstract(757) HTML (65) PDF(59)
Abstract:
The generation of the effectiveness of ideological and political education depends on the effective solution of the ideological and political education problems existing in the educates. The educatees can obtain benefits from the solution of the ideological and political education problems, which is the logical starting point of the effectiveness of ideological and political education. Benefits are the core conditions for generating the effectiveness of ideological and political education, and problems and benefits constitute the generation logic of the effectiveness of ideological and political education. The study constructs an analytical framework for the generation of the effectiveness of ideological and political education of “problem−benefit”, which can scientifically explain the logic and mechanism of the generation of the effectiveness of ideological and political education and put forward the path of enhancement that can be cut into. The effectiveness of ideological and political education follows the generating mechanism of “identifying problems−setting agendas−implementing programs−obtaining benefits−evaluating the effects−effective formation”. Ideological and political educators should enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education from the practical dimensions of the problems, agendas and elements, and constantly promote the high-quality development of ideological and political education in the new era.

LIN Xiuneng
2024, 40(2): 8-15. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023060035
Abstract(723) HTML (153) PDF(43)
Abstract:
Marx and Engels' scientific thinking on the methods of reading, writing and research could be seen from the seven prefaces and postscripts of volume I of Das Kapital. They provide an important guide to understand Marxist research methods. Reading is the foundation of scholarly research. We should combine the text conclusion with the argumentation process, the text thought with the practical needs, the understanding of the work logic with the reductionprocess, and highlight the reflection of the work on the reality and history as well as the thinking methods used to understand the work. Writing is the presentation of academic achievements. It should present independent thinking with clear concepts, lead the ideological revolution with terminology revolution, adhere to the narrative method of gasping the essence, present the generality, maintain the objectivity, make rigorous and solid citations, and constantly make revisions after the preliminary completion of the work with the goal of improving the clarity, preciseness, and persuasiveness of materials. Research is the key to scholarly research and the intermediary link from reading to writing. We should try to complete the possession of materials through multiple comparisons to improve the work, take the most typical things as reference, start from the most basic things, combine concrete and abstract, and adopt a theoretical construction method that can reflect the real relationship of things.
Dialectics of Digital Technology, Spiritual Politics, and Power Governance-An Exploration of Byung-Chul Han’s Digital Psychopolitics Thought
WU Dajuan
2024, 40(2): 16-23. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023050036
Abstract(682) HTML (74) PDF(35)
Abstract:
Byung-Chul Han formed the digital psychopolitics thought by revealing the operation mechanism of spiritual power in the digital age and the living conditions of the meritorious subjects. He claimed that the biopolitics constructed by Foucault, Agamben and others could not align with the operating rules of meritorious societies, and therefore would inevitably come to an end, being replaced by digital psychopolitics. By manipulating the spiritual highlands of human beings with digital technology, digital psychopolitics shapes the cultural scene of meritorious society in a positive and gentle way, induces meritorious subjects to immerse themselves in the illusory happiness of formal freedom, emotional release, spiritual influence and gaming experience, and to forget the enslavement and materialization of capitaland focus on themselves, actively optimizing themselves and ultimately forming self-exploitation. In response to the comprehensive penetration of digital psychopolitics, Byung-Chul Han provides flexible resistance technologies such as moving towards the other, depsychologizing and returning to “foolishness”. Byung-Chul Han’s digital psychopolitics thought provides an important intellectual source for the critique of contemporary capitalism from the perspective of spiritual philosophy, but it still suffers from the defects of subjectivism and uncritical humanism, which urgently need to be responded and corrected with the theoretical weapons of historical materialism and the critique of Marx’s politic.
The “Intelligent” Domination of Digital Capital and the Restoration of the Subject-Reflecting upon Feenberg’s Path of “Technological Democracy”
FENG Rong, WU Xueqin
2024, 40(2): 24-32. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023060063
Abstract(646) HTML (49) PDF(41)
Abstract:
In the era of digitalization, artificial intelligence has become a powerful force that profoundly impacts the world and reconfigures individual lives. Digital capital, due to the its covet manipulation of intelligent technologies, has shaped AI into a tool that meets the interests of capital and the inappropriate design and application of AI has led to the concealment of subject production, the absence of authentic interactions, and the alienation of genuine needs. Andrew Feenberg, through the notion of “technological code,” deconstructs the essence of technology as a convergence of tools and culture, exposing deep-rooted issues within the realm of technological design. He proposes a transformative path that emphasizes public interest and seeks to restore subjectivity through technological democracy. By engaging with Feenberg’s ideas on technological democracy, valuable insights are provided to transcend the dominion of the intelligent-digital capitalism. It is crucial to promptly regulate the improper application of capital power on artificial intelligence and employ multiple strategies to guide artificial intelligence toward ethical development. Only by doing so can we break free from the dominion of “intelligence” and achieve the restoration of subjectivity at a higher level.

2024, 40(2): 56-62. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023110057
Abstract(741) HTML (57) PDF(45)
Abstract:
Deepening and merging the construction of collaborative supervision of “Discipline inspection commission, Political inspection, Accounting supervision and Audit” (DPAA), is an important way to enhance the modernization of the governance system and governance capacity for colleges and universities. It is also an effective starting point to better transform the advantages of the system into governance efficacy. This study is conducted based on the necessity and value of the times of collaborative supervision in constructing the DPAA, the basic theory of Synergistic learning, and the current situation and difficulties of DPAA collaborative supervision in colleges and universities. Also, the study provides and analyzes a specific scheme and path from fours aspects: (1) discovering and solving problems as a common goal of all supervisory work, (2) joint planning, unified supervision standards, and promotion of achievement sharing; (3) fully utilizing big data and information technology, and (4) strengthening the personnel team and cultivating a collaborative supervision culture. Thus, a comprehensive mechanism has been explored for the formation of a long-term coordinated and effective supervision force, which provides a practical and operational path for building the “four beams and eight pillars” of the supervision system in colleges and universities.

Functional Linguistics
On the Philosophical Implications of the Semogenesis Theory
YAN Shiqing
2024, 40(2): 70-77. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023020064
Abstract(780) HTML (46) PDF(24)
Abstract:
The denial of essentialism and commitment to constructivism are made explicit by Halliday and Matthiessen while proposing the evolutionary theory of meaning or the semogenesis theory, in echo with the disputes between essentialists (or logical empiricists) and constructivists in the 20th century Western academic arena of philosophy of science. The semogenesis theory inherits the European functionalists’ tradition that adopts the sociocultural perspective on the relationship between language and reality, which in turn sheds light on the insightfulness of the constructivist view on meaning. Furthermore, with the leading figures of the systemic school extending the semogenic approach to interdisciplinary studies of scientific genre, language programming, biology and sociology, etc., the applicability as well as the infinite potential for the development of systemic linguistics is fully demonstrated.
An Exploration into Lexical Semantic Innovation in Light of the Theory of Semogenesis
YANG Zhong
2024, 40(2): 78-86. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023120106
Abstract(613) HTML (44) PDF(15)
Abstract:
Studies of lexical semantics in the logico-philosophical orientation of linguistics have gained valuable insights into the regularities of lexical meaning. Nevertheless, the objectivist view of meaning that underpins these studies leads to the overlook of man and context as essential factors of meaning. Consequently, lexical semantic innovation has been given scant attention. Linguistics in the rhetorical-ethnographic orientation holds an experiential realistic view of meaning and believes that meaning arises in the interaction between individuals and between man and nature. An exploration into lexical semantic innovation in light of the theory of semogensis has found: 1) Lexical semantic innovation is a progressive cognitive process in which classification of reality and conceptual blending are combined; 2) Cultural differences give rise to non-correspondence of categories of natural languages in terms of delicacy, fuzziness and proto-typicality. It is also found, based on the co-textual and contextual analysis of novel lexical meanings, that lexical semantic innovations, which originate from the author’s creative thinking, contribute significantly to textual semantic construction.

ZOU Kailiang, WANG Xindi
2024, 40(2): 87-93. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023040070
Abstract(941) HTML (76) PDF(37)
Abstract:
Sensitive personal information carries a higher level of personal dignity and requires legal protection. The key to protecting sensitive personal information is for platform enterprises to fulfill their data compliance obligations. China still faces issues such as difficulty in implementing a risk assessment system for processing sensitive personal information data, insufficient consideration of due process for compliance with sensitive personal information data, and a lack of economic responsibility related to platform enterprise data compliance. To effectively protect sensitive personal information, platform enterprises should strive to build a compliance system for sensitive personal information data by establishing a data risk assessment system, constructing a data compliance regulatory mechanism, and enforcing legal responsibilities for data compliance.
On the Franchisee’s Liability for Damage Caused by Franchising Activities to Third Parties-A Judicial Perspective
WU Zhiyu
2024, 40(2): 94-104. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2023030066
Abstract(777) HTML (66) PDF(26)
Abstract:
In determining the tort form between the franchisor and the franchisee, the franchisor’s control over the franchisee is the key. Where the franchisor manages the franchisee to protect its brand, there is no obligation to control the licensee to prevent it from infringing on third parties, whereas the obligation to control exists when the franchisor has control over the day-to-day operations of the franchisee beyond what is necessary to protect the brand. When the franchisor fails to fulfill the obligation of control and the franchisee commits a tort, it constitutes a concurrence tort. The franchisee is liable for the tort, with the franchisor assuming supplementary liability. When the franchisor is directly involved in the day-to-day operation of the franchisee, the tort form is a joint tort based on a concerted act of intent instead of a concurrence tort, for which they are jointly and severally liable. When the franchisor and the franchisee breach the obligation to control the property, they are jointly and severally liable for the joint tort of breaching a common obligation through common fault. In addition, the franchisor and the franchisee to use the same logo is the business model, and the franchisor should not be held liable for the ats of the franchisee in tort.
